Black Business Credit & Capital
Accessibility & Security Statement
Effective date: May 2, 2026
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Black Business Credit & Capital is committed to ensuring that blackcorporations.online is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe every entrepreneur deserves equal access to our services and information.
We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website and strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Standards and Conformance Status
We aim for conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our current status is partially conformant — meaning some content may not fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We are actively working to address identified gaps.
Measures Taken to Support Accessibility
- Semantic HTML elements used throughout the site for proper document structure.
- ARIA roles and attributes applied to interactive components.
- Screen-reader-only text added where visual context alone is insufficient.
- All images include descriptive alt text; decorative images use empty alt attributes.
- Color contrast ratios reviewed for primary text and interactive elements.
- Keyboard navigation supported for primary interactive elements.
- Forms include visible labels associated with all input fields.
- Skip-to-content links included in site layout.
- Focus indicators visible on interactive elements.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, the following known limitations exist. We are working to address them:
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g., scheduling widgets) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We have requested improvements from these vendors.
- Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these or provide accessible HTML alternatives.
- Video content does not currently include closed captions. We are adding captions as a priority.
